One of your superpowers is pushing through.
Through resistance.
Through tough stuff.
Through the things that bring up fear, friction, or fatigue—and still doing what needs to be done.
It’s part of what’s made you successful.
But it’s also why you sometimes miss the signal that it’s time to stop. Or change direction. Or simply wait.
High achievers are wired to override discomfort.
We learn to push through pain, perform under pressure, and figure it out later. It works—until it doesn’t.
Because not all friction is meant to be overcome. Sometimes it’s a message. Something’s off. Something’s shifting. Something’s asking you to pay attention.
The challenge isn’t whether you can push through. You already know you can.
The question is: Should you?
What signal might you be overriding right now?
